Stud patterns on Woody's® templates are CAD designed to maintain track balance.These stud patterns are available through the  snowmobile stud and runner application guide. This guide will give  you the best stud pattern for your snowmobile and which studding template to purchase to create that stud pattern.

This stud template will give you the best stud pattern for your snowmobile and the part number for this studding template this stud pattern. Guess work is gone when you are looking for a pattern. At a glance you have Trail, Performance and Double Digger[r] studding patterns available. Choose the best stud pattern for your riding style, terrain and performance capabilities of your sled. The Woody's[r] Universal Template has patterns for 48 to 192 studs. Fits 15" wide track configurations. Available in laminated heavy card stock or clear polycarbonate.
Universal Template
Snowmobile stud patterns on Woody's[r] studding templates are CAD designed to maintain track balance. These snowmobile stud pattern templates are available through your snowmobile dealer. A special Long Track Template to fit track sizes 15" x 136" and 15" x 144" with an added cut-away feature to make the slots expandable to accommodate 16" wide tracks. It has multiple options for center belt studding with or without Double Digger[r] support plates.
Long Track Template-2
FOR 2003 ARCTIC CAT FIRECAT AND SABERCAT SNOWMOBILES ONLY This template is made of laminated heavy card stock with patterns for 96 Single Digger[r], 96 Double Digger[r] or a 144 stud pattern combining Single and Double Digger[r] support plates.

The FireCat/SaberCat Template made of 20 mil styrene will fit 13.5" x 128" and 13.5" x 144" tracks with stud patterns for your level of riding skill. Woody's stud patterns may contain double, single or a combination of single and double Digger[r] Support Plates. Each pattern description will indicate how many of each you will need to complete the pattern.

This FireCat/SaberCat Template has patterns for 102 and 114 Single Digger[r] Support Plates. The 102 stud pattern is for a 128" x 13.5" track and the 114 stud pattern for 144" x 13.5" track.

The FireCat/SaberCat Template pattern for 153 studs for a 128" x13.5 "track willl use 51 Single Digger[r] and 51 Double Digger[r] support plates. The 171 pattern for a 144" x 13.5" track will use 57 Single Digger[r] and 57 Double [r] support plates.

This stud pattern template is available through your Arctic Cat Dealer. The stud patterns represented are a replication of that studding template. You must purchase this template from your Arctic Cat Dealer.

Arctic Cat Crossfire Template 162 Double and Single
Woody's[r] new template is designed to provide studding patterns for 128" snowmobile tracks in widths of 13.5", 14" and 15". Two patterns will accommodate 102 studs. One with 102 Single Digger[r] support plates, the other using 51 Double Digger[r] support plates to develop a 102 stud pattern. A third pattern will allow you to install 153 studs using Single and Double Digger[r] support plates. All patterns are for the center belt. The modification needed to accommodate either the 13.5", 14" or a 15" wide track will not change the scratch lines.
13.5", 14" or 15" x 128" Template 128-Temp
This template will accommodate 13.5", 14" and 15" wide snowmobile tracks with a length of 128". This pattern for 102 studs will use 102 Single, round or square Digger[r] support plates in the center belt.
128-Template, 102 Single Digger® Stud Pattern
This pattern will fit a 128" snowmobile track with widths of 13.5", 14" or 15". The 102 stud pattern will require 51 Double Digger[r] support plates for installation in the center belt.
128-Template, 102 Double Digger® Stud Pattern
This stud pattern will accomodate 13.5", 14" and 15" wide snowmobile tracks with a length of 128". This pattern for 153 studs will use 51 Double Digger[r] and 51 Single Digger[r] support plates in the center belt.

This Universal Template pattern for 48 studs uses 48 Single Digger[r] Support Plates.

This Universal Template 48 single stud pattern can be adapted to stud a 15" x 136" track with 54 single studs. This pattern will be repeated 9 times on a 136" length track.

This pattern utilizes 120 single Digger[r] support plates in the center belt. Mark all O's, Z's and B's.
Universal Template 120 Single Studs in the Center
This template has patterns for single ply tracks with a 3.0 pitch and should not be used on any other tracks. This template will fit 15" x 141" tracks with patterns for 94 and 141 Grand Master [tm] studs and the larger square or round support plate that fits the 1.200" Grand Master[tm] head. A pitch is the space between two lugs.

This template is for single ply tracks with a 2.52 pitch and should not be use on any other tracks. This template will fit 14" and 15' x 128" tracks. The 2.52 pitch track should only be studded with square or double Grand Digger[r] support plates This template will accommodate a 102 and 153 stud patterns. A pitch is the space between two lugs.

This stud pattern will fit 15" x 137" single ply tracks. The 96 stud pattern will require 96 Grand Master [tm] studs. Grand Master[tm] packages with either round or square support plates can be used on this pitch track and this pattern.

This stud pattern will fit a 15" x 137" single ply track. The 144 stud pattern will require 48 single and 48 double Grand Master[tm] studs.

This stud pattern will fit a 15" x 141" single ply track. The 94 stud pattern will require 94 Grand Master[tm] studs. Grand Master[tm] packages with either round or square support plates can be used on this pitch track and this pattern.

This stud pattern will fit a 15" x 141" single ply track. The 141 stud pattern will require 141 Grand Master[tm] studs. Grand Master[tm] packages with either round or square support plates can be used on this pitch track and this pattern.
300S Template, 141 Stud Pattern for Single Ply 15" x 141" Track-3.0-Single
This stud pattern will fit either a 14" or 15" x 128" single ply tracks. The 102 stud pattern will require 102 Grand Master studs. Grand Master packages with SQUARE SUPPORT PLATES ONLY can be used on this pitch track and this pattern.
252S Template, 102 Stud Pattern for Single Ply 14" & 15" x 128" tracks
This stud pattern will fit either a 14" or 15" x 128" single ply tracks. The 153 stud pattern will require 153 Grand Master[TM] studs. Grand Master[TM] packages with SQUARE SUPPORT PLATES ONLY can be used on this pitch track and this pattern.
252S Template, 153 Stud Pattern for Single Ply 14" & 15" x 128" tracks- Single
This template has patterns for standard two ply tracks with a 2.86 pitch. This template will accommodate 14", 15" and 16" wide tracks in lengths of 120" or 137". Patterns for the 120" track are 84,105, 126 and 168. The patterns for the 137" long track are 96, 120,144 and 192. Do not use this template on Single Ply tracks with a 2.86 pitch. Use the 286S-Temp on single ply tracks with a 2.86 pitch.

The 286T Template pattern for 84 studs on a 120" track will use 42 Double Digger[r] support plates. The pattern for 96 studs will use 48 Double Digger[r] support plates Do not use this pattern for single ply tracks.

BEARCAT Track Template
The 60 stud pattern will fit 2.52 pitch, 15" x 151" tracks. The 62 stud pattern will fit 2.52 pitch tracks 15", 16" and 20" x 156". 2.52 Single-Ply tracks must use Grand Master studs and Grand Digger Plates. Follow the installation instructions for specific stud placement.
BEAR-TEMP, 60 Stud Pattern and 62 Stud Pattern
The 120 stud pattern will fit 15" x 151" 2.52 pitch tracks. The 124 stud pattern fits 15", 16" & 20" x 156" 2.52 pitch tracks. 2.52 Single-Ply tracks must use Grand master studs and Grand Digger Plates. follow the installation instructions for specific stud placement.
